That said, at its core, it works like this: Users login to FitFeud, join a league, and then compete with others to lose the highest percentage of weight. Each week, all competitors are sent reminders via email to check-in online.
Yes. FitFeud allows you to set up competitions with any sort of prize you like, cash or otherwise. Currently, FitFeud does not manage this process for you. Whatever the prize for your competition is, cash or otherwise, managing and awarding this prize is handled outside of the FitFeud web site in whatever way the league's competitors see fit.
We plan on adding the ability to manage competition payments and cash prize payouts inside of FitFeud in the future. We'll be sure to let you know when we add this functionality.
Currently, all FitFeud competitions are based on percentage of weight loss. Moving forward well be adding features that allow you to compete based number of workouts, push-ups, miles run and the like. We'll let you know as soon as these features are available. In the mean time feel free to let us know what else you would like to compete on.
FitFeud Credits allow you to purchase taunts for your competitors. FitFeud Credits may be purchased at the rate of 50 credits for $5 USD. Soon FitFeud Credits will be redeemable for other premium services.
FitFeud currently utilizes PayPal to process all payment transactions. This allows you to pay with Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or your Paypal account.
Yes. Paypal is a recognized leader in handling online payments. They're the experts, so we let them handle everything for us.
All information you provide to Paypal is done over a secure, encrypted connection. FitFeud does not store or get access to your credit card information in any way. Every part of the transaction is handled by Paypal.

FitFeud Credits allow you to purchase taunts for your competitors. In the future FitFeud Credits will be redeemable for other premium services.

To send a taunt to your competitor go to your current competition. Choose "Send a taunt" and choose one of your opponents to taunt from the list provided. After you have selected a competitor be sure to include a message with your taunt.
If you do not have credits you will be prompted to purchase credits through our Credit Store.

We know weight can be a sensitive issue for some. For others, though, having their competitors know their weight is motivating. FitFeud allows commissioners to control whether actual weights are shown to other competitors. Regardless, no one outside of the competition will ever be able to see anyone’s weight.
Soon FitFeud will be able to match competitors based on their location. In order to match you with other people around you, FitFeud will need to have a general idea where you are located.

Avatar images must be under 500kb and no larger than 1024 x 1024. Using square images is recommended. To easily resize your image, try Picnik, a free online image editor. .
